‘광화문에서 길을 잃다’는 개발독재시대의 기억상실증 도시 서울의 기억을 되살리게 하는 프로젝트이다. 현대화와 도시개발로 인해 추억과 기록들이 사라져버린 서울 도심 곳곳에서 고현학적 관점에서 접근하여 관찰하고 헤매면서, 개발이 지운 서울의 기억들을 불러내고자 한다. 또한 정치경제, 문화예술의 중심이었던 광화문의 역사성을 되살려 광장의 의미를 다시 생각하고자 하는 전시이다.

‘Lost in Gwangwhamoon’ is a project to remind people of the memories of Seoul that suffers a symptom of amnesia in the era of development dictatorship. Many memories and records have been destroyed due to modernization and urban development in many places in Seoul, and this project is to revive the lost memories of Seoul that had been erased by development, through observation and exploration with the approach from the modernology point of view. It is also an exhibition to restore the historical meaning of Gwangwhamoon that used to be the center of politics, finance, culture and art of Korea, and to ponder upon the meaning of this place.
